Job Description

Time Served CNC MachinistAn exciting position has become available for a full time, highly skilled Time Served CNC Machinists to join a friendly team based in Pontypool. The successful candidate will earn £35,000 + Dependent on experience.Hours of work will be 8.00-16:30 Monday to Thursday/ 7.00- 15.00 Friday.Role Requirements

  • Must be time served with at least 5 years’ experience in sub-contracting.
  • Able to operate control systems MAZATROL, Fanuc and HURCO
  • Good understanding of COMPLEX DRAWINGS
  • Work on own initiative to set up / programme and run machines
  • Ideally flexible as shifts will occur on occasion.
    • Role Responsibilities
  • The main purpose of this role is to work on MAZAK and HURCO machining centers. (Mills and Lathe’s)
  • Ensure a consistent, high-quality supply of parts and components.
  • Maintain production records as per company quality system
  • Interpret CAD drawings of various components
  • Capable of working in production environment
