Job Description

The Accounts Payable team consists of 2 Purchase Ledger Clerks and 1 Cashier who report directly into the Financial Controller.Client DetailsBased in Pontypool, South Wales this client is in the automotive industry and are looking for a Purchase Ledger clerk to join the finance team.Description

  • Invoices are processed accurately and promptly in line with specified deadlines
  • Deliver exceptional customer service both internally and externally
  • Ensure suppliers are paid on time, first time with no exceptions
  • Be proactive in identifying problems and solutions; engage with stakeholders to ensure best possible outcomes
  • Proactively work with Finance and other ZF colleagues to ensure supplier ageing balances are kept to a minimum
  • Embrace new initiatives, positively supporting the team in change and innovation
Profile
  • Accounts Payable experience in a high volume, target driven, professional and customer focused environment (experience in multi-ledger environment preferred)
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills and very thorough, accurate and with attention to detail
  • Excellent knowledge of multicurrency ERP systems, preferably Microsoft AX
  • Proven self-ability to identify problems, offer solutions and act on the agreed solution to resolve the identified issue
  • Very strong team player, with the drive and flexibility to support others in the team
  • Good IT skills (Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams). Good understanding of the financial control framework relating to Purchase to Pay activities
