Job Description

Role: Kitchen AssistantLocation: PontypoolRate: £10 per hourHours: 10am - 9pm with 2 hour paid breakShift Pattern: 5 days on 2 days offCove Recruitment are proud to present an amazing opportunity for a Kitchen Assistant to join a distinguished and popular pub/restaurant in Pontypool. Our client offers a great selection of food and drink with a beautiful beer garden and newly furnished interior.Purpose of the role: With your support as a Kitchen Assistant everything will run like clockwork! You’ll make sure everything is stocked up, clean, tidy and ready for the shift ahead.The role:

  • Assist the chef with the day to day duties of running the kitchen
  • Supporting chef in specific work sections
  • Preparing food items
  • Using variety of kitchen equipment such as mixers, fryers, special knives & cutters
  • Unload deliveries
  • Organise storeroom
  • Clean down of equipment and work areas
    • You will have the following:
