Engineering ManagerSouth Wales 20336/534M£45,000 - £65,000 Due to continual expansion and growth this company, a leading supplier to a number of national supermarkets and restaurant chains are looking to add an experienced Engineering Manager to the team in South Wales. They have recently been taking over by a largercompany who are investing significantly into the facilities and machinery. This is a great opportunity for someone is who is looking to step up into a managerial role and take ownership of an engineering team.Role & Responsibilities:*To manage an effective PM programme*To control labour and machine component budget*To manage reactive and breakdown engineering*To maintain the factory to BRC standard*To ensure health and safety compliance with respect to machinery compliance and engineering practices*To develop the teams engineering skills*Responsible for quality, human and food safety, and continuous improvement*Understands maintenance and manufacturing systems*Responsible for infrastructure including support utilities and ammonia refrigeration systems*Responsible for creation and management of yearly maintenance budget including indirect spend*Viable and dedicated support resource for all related aspects of manufacturing*Manages and assists with plant capital projectsKnowledge, Skills & Experience:*Previous experience in a Food/ FMCG industry *Management experience would be beneficial however someone who is looking to take a step up into management would be considered*Multi skilled maintenance background would be desirable Benefits Package:*£45,000 - £65,000 depending on experience *Free parking*Employer Pension/Retirement Pay*Death in service pay*Length of service payTo apply please email your CV / resume to Hunter Selection is a nationwide provider of recruitment services in ENGINEERING, MANUFACTURING, SERVICE & TECHNOLOGY.
