Job Description

PMP Recruitment are currently looking for CNC Machine Operators with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.Candidates will be required to work as part of the manufacturing team within the machine shop area of the business.Shift Pattern: 37 hours a week,5 days Monday till Friday, Days, Nights and Afternoons.Hourly rate: Depend on ExperienceDuties:

  1. Responsible for monitoring product quality via visual inspection and/or via gauge measurement. The results will be recorded.
  2. Monitor and record production output vs target and record any downtime and rejects.
  3. To keep fixtures/tooling free from the build-up of swarf/coolant during the normal process operation.
  4. Responsible for general housekeeping and workplace organization within the cell in which you are working.
  5. Participate in continuous improvement activities to improve productivity, quality, and machine availability.
  6. Ensure product is correctly identified, counted, and labeled at all times within the production area.
  7. Daily machine checks.
  • Experience in running medium / high volume production.
  • Understanding of Quality systems.
  • Previous experience in the automotive/manufacturing industry
  • Experience of shift patterns would be an advantage.
