Job Description

As a Systems Developer, you will be supporting the development, testing and delivery of processes for all systems supported by the Systems and Reporting Team.You will be responsible for the delivery of service, development and implementation of multiple IT systems to support the efficiency and automation strategy.Client DetailsMy client is an Aerospace organisation based in Monmouthshire. They are looking for a Systems Developer to join their central services office.Description

  • Supporting the development, testing and delivery of processes for all systems supported by the Systems and Reporting Team.
  • Responsibility for the delivery of service, development and implementation of multiple IT systems to support the efficiency and automation strategy.
  • Undertaking a range of duties - technical, administrative, and function-specific- across a range of systems including ReconNET, MyService (ServiceNow) ard Tagetik.
  • Producing documentation to facilitate training and communication of new processes
  • Being able to understand complex issues and provide solutions to internal and external stakeholders or understand how solutions can be provided
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure experience, lessons learnt synergy
  • Ensure requirements are delivered in a timescale agreed with our stakeholders.
  • Seek out opportunities for continuous improvement, including automation, process improvement and consumption management.
  • Understand the need to engage with senior management as and when appropriate in order to report, obtain authorisation, highlight and escalate issues.

  • Possess a high standard of competence in IT systems and financial awareness
  • Strong influencing skills
  • A systems focused individual who can develop new processes maximising the systems potential
  • Desirable: Previous experience of Finance Systems
