Job Description

Gap Personnel (operating as an employment business) are currently recruiting for anexperienced Bookkeeper to join a well-known company based in thePontypool area.The ideal candidate will be a confident and outgoing individual. You will be enthusiastic; a quick thinker and you will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You must be numerate and have a reasonable understanding of MS Office packages such as Word and Excel. Highly organised, you will be capable of planning and prioritising your workload efficiently and you will excel when working in a pressured environment.Key Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Balance and maintain accurate ledgers.
  • Match purchase orders with invoices
  • Coordinate bank deposits and report financial results on regular basis to management
  • Monitor office expenses and tally and enter cash receipts.
  • Pay Vendor invoices and track bank account balances.
  • Must be experienced in both Sage Payroll and Sage 50 Accounts
    • Hours of Work
  • Two full days to begin with but extra hours maybe available as we are a growing company. Being flexible on working hours above the two days would be an advantage.
    • Pay RateMinimum wage until permanent as it will be reviewed.We will need to see full Cv’s of the candidates and the next process will be an interview.Based at Mamhilad Park Estate so owing their own car is a must, free onsite parking.
