PMP Recruitment is looking for Skilled Production Assemblers with experience within the automotive / aerospace sectors for a client based in Pontypool.Ideally, candidates will have previous experience within a mechanical assembly and be able to follow written and verbal instructions clearly. Knowledge of health and safety in the workplace is essential.Your duties will include:Assembling of safety-critical products ensuring 100% accuracyAssembly of medium to heavy components candidates will need to be dexterousMust be able to properly use and understand the required measurement equipmentExperienced in the use of hand, power and air toolsParticipate in the principles of teamworkMaintain a clean, safe and organised work environmentMust operate and perform at speeds necessary to meet production demandMust be able to bend, reach, and stand for 8 hours.Hand and eye coordinationRead drawingsMust be able to work overtime when requiredOperating drill presses, punch presses, or riveting machines to assist in assembly operationFastening parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fastenersBenefits & PayMornings 6am-2pm £12.43Afternoons 2pm-10pm £12.43Nights 10pm-6am £13.30Candidates must be able to work 2 cycle and 3 cycle rotational shift patterns as required33 days Holidays-inclusive of bank HolidaysFree car parkingFree tea and coffeePensionShorter shifts FridayTemp to Perm conversions for the right candidates.How to get there - Public Transport is extremely limited, due to the location of the site, its important you have your own transport or that you have arranged transport before applying for this role!You will be working 37 hrs per week.
