They are introducing a brand new, state of the art production line, due to this expansion they are looking to bring in a Design Manager to help oversee the small in house team.In this role you will be reporting directly to the directors and leading a small, close-knit design team responsible for the design and optimisation of a new state of the art manufacturing line. You will work to maximise reliability and capacity of the productionline whilst ensuring conformity with applicable regulations and standards for machinery and for safety related parts of a control system. You will plan and prioritise design projects, complete technical reviews, design risk assessments, conformity validation,critical analysis and sign off at stage gates. This is a permanent position and there will be plenty of ongoing project work, including designing the next generation production system to be installed at a facility overseas and a brand new product launch thatis still in development.This is the perfect role for someone with experience in complex mechanical design projects looking for an opportunity to join a rapidly expanding local business working on cutting edge projects.
