Are you an experienced Asphalt batcher who is ready for the jump into management Perhaps you are already a site supervisor who wants to work for a great employer with secure workWe are a family owned, but national aggregates organisation providing everything from concrete and asphalt to sand and aggregates and we are searching for a new Plant Supervisor to lead the established team at a site near Pontyclun.What’s the package£36k-£40k with further flexibility for an outstanding candidate25 days paid leave with paid bank holidays on topPension and life insuranceWhat’s the roleYou’ll be leading a team who are responsible for the successful operation of an Asphalt plant. As the site lead you’ll also show a little flexibility during breakdowns and peak periods to work overtime or different shifts for an odd day.Using your existing experience you’ll set a great example to the other team members, creating a great team that works safely and efficiently. An IOSH or NEBOSH qualification would turn you into an outstanding candidate.As well as getting ‘your hands dirty’ with the team you will also have some office based responsibilities, keeping H and S documents up to date and recording data for company policy and procedures. Some computer skills would be handy.This role creates the step between senior management, and plant operations.
