Job Description

Maintenance Engineer Llantrisant19269/534£46,000 + Excellent company benefits This thriving South Wales manufacturer is undergoing a period of unprecedented growth and are looking to expand its engineering team. The company have invested significantly and are operating from two fully automated purpose-built factories in SouthWales. This role will be varied and also challenging allowing further career development and genuine long-term progression. You will be working within an already highly skilled team and will have the luxury of working on a range of new state-of-the-artmachinery in a fully automated environment. Role & Responsibilities:

  • Providing breakdown support and preventative maintenance within a high volume, fast paced environment
  • Carry out both electrical and mechanical maintenance on a variety of automated machinery
  • Working on a variety of equipment including PLC systems, drives, conveyors, 3 phase electrics, hydraulics/pneumatics
  • Assisting with ongoing development to machinery and continual process improvements.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
  • Strong multi skilled maintenance background
  • Preferably electrically qualified bias but open to mechanical
  • Excellent fault-finding ability
  • Experience of working with automated equipment is desirable
  • High volume industry experience is highly beneficial
  • Experience working with PLCs, AC/DC Motors, Drives etc is advantageous
