Excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to step into a key role within the a rapidly growing manufacturing business that will offer the chance to build a long-term career and get heavily involved with the development of new processes and processimprovement.Do you have experience of making improvements to PPMs, production machinery, conveyors etc. Are you Mechanically skilledThis company design and manufacture specialist construction materials, they have seen high demand and are planning to improve their manufacturing processes to keep up with demand and maintain a high quality product. They currently have a strong focus on reducingwaste and improving overall production efficiency, and so they are looking to take on a new Process Improvement Engineer.This role will be focused on eliminating waste and downtime in a given production area. This will involve a variety of tasks such as leading teams to investigate how to reduce energy waste, lost time etc. You will also be using planned maintenance techniquesto optimise performance and reduce potential downtime through the development of new maintenance procedures.This role would ideally suit a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer who has some experience in making process improvements looking to expand this area o their skillset into a specialisation.
