Sewell Wallis are delighted to be working with a well known and growing business on the outskirts of Pontefract who are looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner into their Head Office Team.This is a newly created role and will suit a fully qualified Accountant, ideally ACA / ACCA / CIMA looking for the next challenge in their career.Reporting to the Finance Manager and with exposure to the senior management team across different business units, your responsibilities will include:-Ensuring accurate reporting and analysis of financial information Taking an active role in the management of warehouse stock controlBuilding a strong relationship with our 3rd party partnersCreating a series of reporting tools using existing data and reports to analyse weekly stock movements Monitoring, highlighting and investigating any areas of concern, liaising with partners, warehousing teams, IT and/or other Finance teams as appropriateReviewing controls and procedures across the operation and identifying areas for operational and reporting improvementsDocumenting operational and reporting procedures for presentation to and discussion with new and existing clientsLiaising with external and internal auditorsManaging a small teamDealing with ad hoc queries from people across the business as and when requiredRequirements:-Qualified Accountant Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel and ideally SQLAbility to analyse and interpret large volumes of dataExcellent attention to detailStrong communication and influencing skillsEnthusiastic and ambitiousAbility to work in a fast paced and change businessCommercial awareness Our client is offering hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.For further details please contact Emma Dugdale or Lucy Regan.To apply please send your CV, quoting our reference and specifying which website you saw this position advertised on.
