Job Description

As the Purchasing Administrator, you will work closely with all company personnel and departments to support, assist and process purchasing requisitions, as well as providing assistance with the monitoring and maintenance of inventory/stock levels of materialsensuring a seamless journey from supply through to production. This is a full time permanent position working Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 17:30 and Friday 08:00 to 12:00. Alternative hours will be considered e.g. Monday to Friday 07:30 to 15:30.Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the monitoring and maintenance of the supplier section within the companys Workflow system and ensure it is kept up-to-date.
  • Expedite and bring orders in on a day-to-day basis to support the procurement department and other cross-functional departments within the company.
  • Support with the processing of purchasing requisitions.
  • Provide support to assist with maintaining inventory of materials into the business and ensure production is supported in its requirements.
  • Support Buyers/Materials Controllers/Senior Buyers in their day-to-day activities, where necessary.
  • Implement and maintain an effective filing system within the office, for POs and any spend accountable to individuals and departments.
  • Set up new parts and provide general administrative support to senior members within the Buying Team.
  • Responsible for ordering stationery for the entire company and ensuring requisitions are completed for each individual order.
  • Support the procurement department to process weekly/monthly reports, excel spreadsheets, as well as KPIs.
  • Ensure a healthy relationship is maintained with key suppliers/customers.
  • Ensure that quality standards are maintained and (OTD) on time delivery targets are met.
Essential Experience / Qualifications and Attributes Required:
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Previous experience in the Total Procurement Cycle.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Highly organised.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Competent communicator.
