Warehouse OperativeStart work immediatelyWe are recruiting for warehouse operatives for our client, based in Estover.The client, a family run business, are going through a period of expansion and are looking to recruit warehouse operatives on a temp to perm basis, starting immediately.We have 2 available shifts, day shifts 7am - 5pm, at £9.50 per hour and a late shift at 3pm - 11pm , at £11.59 per hour.Previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred. Your responsibilities will include:To assist willingly in the day-to-day activities of the warehouse team.Order PickingOrder despatchingReplenishment & Goods in Put awayGoods In processingTo be trained in all areas of the warehouse to enable resources to be used wherever necessary.Participate in daily teammeetings and assist with daily improvement actions.Ensure all picking is 100% accurate and quality checked, and that the relevant paperwork is compliant.Participate in lean projects to optimise the efficiency of core warehouse activities.Assist in managing consumables needed for warehouse operation.Carry out stock inventory checking.Due to the location your own transport would be essential.This vacancy is being handled by Rachel Rawlings, Driving and Industrial Specialist Consultant at Pertemps Plymouth.
