Technical Author - SubmarinerDevonport, PlymouthSF30288About the roleWere looking for a Technical Author - Submariner to join us at HMNB Devonport, one of the largest naval bases in Western Europe. Were a key strategic partner to our customers and we ensure that the UK Royal Navy goes to sea safely by supporting them in Devonport and around the world, delivering complex ship and submarine sustainment programmes and applying our core strengths of technology and expertise to sustain critical and complex assets to help maintain national security.You would be joining our Energy & Marine Division where you will work within the Submarine Design Group which is a multi-disciplined team that supports the Design Services & Programme Management contract (DSPM) for the continuous upgrade of Royal Navy Submarines.Key responsibilities will include:* You will undertake the production of design and safety documentation relating to specific products, plant or processes to recognised standards.* You will perform design and safety analysis and associated activities, including maintenance of appropriate files and records.* You will find solutions to remedy any deficiencies or required improvements and support the team to deliver excellent customer service to Time, Cost and Quality.As well as being part of a business that continues to see growth at a significant pace, well support you with training, development and further qualifications.
