Sheltered Housing Manager/Scheme ManagerImmediately RequiredLocation: KingsbridgeSalary: £26205 per annum, 40 hours a week Mon-FridayA national, well respected supported housing provider is looking for a Scheme Manager to oversee one of their houses in Kingsbridge.Day to day duties: Maximise the quality of life for residents Assist with the marketing of the property Coordinate and manage all house staff To ensure a catering service is provided to required standards To ensure an efficient handover process is in place and is adopted by all house staff Support the operations manager on the application of policies and procedures Lead on the development of programmes of social activities, ensuring resident involvement To ensure the house is clean and tidy Conduct reviews of support plans for the residents and ensure they have access to relevant services Be the first point of contact for residents and liaise with 3rd party agencies Carry out supervision of staff and manage rotasEssential Skills: Experience in a supporting people in a similar environment Current clean driving licence Must live within an hour commutable distance An understanding of the needs of old people Able to cook competently for a large groupDesirable Skills: Food Hygiene Certificate Knowledge of housing benefit requirements Implementation and experience of health and safety and fire regulations
