About the roleMake a real impact immediatelyWere looking for a dynamic, ambitious and eager individual to make a real impact by becoming our next Senior Project Manager within Mission Systems. The difference the new Senior Project Manager will make You will provide Senior Project Management skills and expertise to all areas of the existing and future C&CA Projects, wider support to Missions systems projects and Business Development activities as required. You will have the responsibility of delivering key strategic projects within Mission Systems. You will be forging relationships with new customers and maximising engagement across our organisation to elevate delivery for our customers.We value your existing skills and experience and as a senior project manager, you will have the ability to continue to develop yourself and share you knowledge and expertise with others within the project management discipline through line management and coachingand mentoring opportunities.What do I need to do the roleYou will have a broad knowledge of Project Management techniques and activities and have the ability to capture project information and present it in easy to understand formats. ExperienceIn order to execute the roles and associated responsibilities, you will need to have a varied level of experience and knowledge in the following:- * Project Management & Engineering awareness* Proven experience in the Development of Work Breakdown Structures* Production & Maintenance of Project Schedules* Estimating, and Budget Control * Production of various project documentation* Analysis and Performance Reporting* Configuration Control* Risk Management* Change Management * Resource Management * Use talent and ability to encourage contract, or tasking growth and continuous improvementSkills and attributes* Professional, customer orientated and flexible approach* Able to build rapport and maintain relationships* Good report writing and communication skills* Security and Commercially aware* Strong organisational and management skillsQualificationsYou will have a minimum of ONC in an engineering discipline, or Business qualification (Diploma in management minimum) or experience in a Project engineering environment.
