Job Title: Senior Project Engineer - Electrical SystemsLocation: Plymouth, Devon, GB, PL1 4SGCompensation: £37,908.00 + BenefitsRole Type: Full time / Permanent Job ID: SF42209The Major Infrastructure Projects Business Unit has been set up to establish and maintain a Strategic Infrastructure Plan for the Devonport site through to at least 2050 and to safely and effectively deliver the major capital works projects that result fromthe Plan. The roles sit within the 10 Dock Astute 25 Project. These offer a significant project delivery challenges and present excellent development opportunities.Who we are looking forWe are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to provide support to the project team in delivery of schedule, technical scope, contractual, financial and risk management functions.What will you be doing* Assisting the technical and project team in development of requirements, project scope and solutions for specific work packages.* Translate supply chain reporting into useable data to inform planning, monitoring and control of work packages.* Provide input to cost and budget monitoring.* Develop stakeholder management and communications plans.* Contribute to the risk process including the identification, assessment, planning and implementation of risks, opportunities and issues.The experience youll bring * Must have experience of working within a project environment, ideally on the Nuclear Licensed site or in delivery of Nuclear safety implicated equipment or services. * Ideally having knowledge of the engineering systems within the scope.* Ideally will have a HNC / HND (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline.* APM project management qualification (or equivalent).* Extensive marine engineering experience.You will need to satisfy security requirements.
