Job Description

Senior HR AdministratorPlymouth areaPermanentSalary up to £28,000DK Recruitment are looking for a Senior HR Administrator who has experience with Payroll processes and ideally within the public sector environment.As the Senior HR Administrator you will be reporting to the HR Business Partner and will supervise the day-to-day work of an HR Assistant and oversee the development of them to their full potential.Role Responsibilities

  • Responsible for recruitment and vetting checks
  • You will be responsible for and take ownership of the contractual admin and payroll/pension-related tasks
  • First point of contact for enquiries, signposting managers to appropriate operational HR Policies and procedures and providing best practice support
  • Responsible for the administration of starter/leaver and contractual change processes, including and contract change letters.
  • Work with the HR Business Partners, HR Advisors and the HR Data and Payroll Manager to develop the administrative processes.
  • Responsible for providing an HR administration and payroll service acting with the HR Assistant as a central point of contact for contractual, payroll, pension and HR administrative practice queries from the teams administrators.
Experience Required
  • Minimum of 5 x GCSE’s to include English and Maths
  • CIPD Level 3 or 5, or working towards with equivalent demonstrable experience (Desirable, not essential)
  • Providing advice and guidance to managers and/or customers on HR administration related or policy issues
  • Working in a customer-facing HR role
  • Familiarity with HR systems or other management reporting systems
  • Excellent working knowledge of HR/payroll/pension administration
