Job Description

Are you an enthusiastic SEN specialist Teaching Assistant looking for work A SEN school in Plymouth are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to support pupils on a full time basis. The role will be to starting in March and will be full time, term time only. The role is until July 2021.The school caters for primary and secondary aged pupils with SLCN, learning difficulties, complex needs and ASC. It is Ofsted rated good and focusses on providing quality education for each individual child.The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience of supporting children with PMLD/ASC in either a mainstream or SEN school
  • Must have has experience supporting 1:1 or small groups
  • Training in PECS/ Makaton/BSL/MAPA/Team Teach/Moving and Handling is advantageous
  • Nurturing attitude
