The roleThe difference our new Security Assurance Advisor will make As a Security Assurance Advisor, youll have a role thats out of the ordinary. You will ensure that Babcock operations at Devonport Royal Dockyard are compliant and effective in supporting and delivering against Nuclear Regulation and FMSP Contractual conditions.Day to day, you will be supporting security management of integrated Security Assurance activity to allow decision making at the level where influence can take place. This will include analysis on security performance metrics and indicators and support theidentification of factors where security deficiencies at Devonport security arrangements are identified. Moreover, you will be responsible for identifying trends in security performance and potential risks before they materialise. Following this, you willbe providing security solutions to various business units to deliver the required security effects in the most effective and efficient manner. This will come in the form of creating corrective action plans, developed on internal findings and monitoring theirimplementation as appropriate.At Babcock, we have a history of helping talent go far. This role is based entirely on-site due to the nature of the work.Essential experience

• Previous experience in an Assurance and/or Security role
• Experience with programme delivery, with excellent policy, regulation and governance interpretation
• Completed or willing to complete formal Assurance/Auditors ISO qualification.
• Completed or willing to complete CPNI training pathway; Digital CPNI Foundation, Protecting my Asset (Deter, Detect, Delay) and Follow on courses to the digital training pathway
• Math and English GCSE minimum
• Currently holds or ability to obtain SC clearance
