An exciting opportunity for a Radioactive Waste Manager at Devonport Dockyard in Plymouth.This role can be hybrid, 2 days/week at site or a week on/week off dependant on project requirements.Key Responsibilities:* Part of a team leading on providing a radioactive waste service for a large, licensed site supporting the UKs Nuclear Submarine Fleet, delivering the safety case and work controls that enable this work to take place safety and efficiently in our bespokefacility.* Day to day, you will be supporting operational teams to conduct the waste processes efficiently and safely.* You will also have the opportunity to support both day to day work and future planning and investment.Experience/Qualifications Required:* Experience of managing work in high hazard industries* Experience in team or stakeholder management * Experience of implementing risk assessments or safety casesDue to the nature of the role being in the Defence industry, you will be required to undertake security clearance checks prior to your start.
