Job Description

JOB- Quality and Compliance ManagerLOCATION- RemoteTERM- PermanentSALARY- £70,000 - £80,000 per annum (dependent on experience)We are looking for a Quality and Compliance Manager on a permanent basis with remote working and travel to sites. Must have excellent knowledge of predominately Bio-Pharmaceuticals but also Medical devices, Food & Beverage and Mining.The Global Quality and Compliance Manager will ideally have the following attributes:

  • Educated to degree status or equivalent experience
  • Certificates in Lean auditing, Quality Management, process improvement or Lean Six Sigma
  • Excellent knowledge of Bio-pharmaceuticals , medical device, industrial, environmental and mining sectors
  • Multi-sector experience with emphasis on Bio-Pharmaceuticals and Medical devices ideally
  • Have the ability to understand the latest needs of customers, regulatory and industry bodies
  • Good interpersonal skills and passionate about Quality & Compliance
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to engage with others effectively and drive change across all levels
  • Experience with compliance standards such as REACH, RoHS and Conflict minerals
  • Pragmatic and practical; can develop processes and standards as well as managing a team
    • The Global Quality and Compliance Manager role will involve:
  • Developing & agreeing quality and compliance strategy
  • Ability to drive standardization
  • Leading global quality and compliance activities
  • Developing internal audit capability
  • Leading global activities and co-ordinate development quality metrics & targets & capability across the group
  • Deployment of Electronic Quality Management systems ISO 9001 and ISO 13485
  • Creating and agree annual plans for KPI’s and reporting
