Position: Project Manager Location: PlymouthSalary Guide: £55k+ (neg DOE), car allowance and benefits Our Client: Is a Main/Principal Contractor within the Water, Industrial, MOD, and Power Sectors. This includes all aspects of New Build, Refurbishment, Civil Engineering and MEICA Projects.Extensive experience within these areas of construction, they aim to be pivotal in galvanising the design teams, subcontractors, and supply chain to ensure each project is carried out safely, within programme, to budget and of the highest quality. They pridethemselves on their integrity, competency, transparency and openness with clients and supply chainThe Project: A £3m+ project for the refurbishment of water supply, clean water and recycled water treatment facilities at one of the docks at Devonport Dockyard.The Role: Responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the construction phase of the project, ensuring contracts are delivered on time, on budget and fulfilling contractual obligations.Developing and implementing the Construction Programme from inception to completion.Managing the overall design process and design team.Working closely with Commercial Department.Managing and oversee all aspects of Health and Safety onsite, including undertaking of Daily Site Inductions, vetting/ checking of Subcontractors RAMS, Weekly site/ plant inspections.Liaising/communicating directly with their clients and design teamsProcurement/ordering of site materials and consumables.Monitoring of quality and workmanship onsite.Compile and deliver monthly Progress Reports to the client and design team (project dependant).Attend monthly internal Production Meetings.Lead a team of employees and subcontractors effectively to ensure the clients and companys objectives are exceeded.Qualifications: Security ClearancePrevious Project Management experienceQualification in a construction related discipline.SMSTS, CSCSFirst Aid at Work (required)APMP or equivalent (desirable)Must be delivery driven with the ability to set targets and manage and motivate multi-disciplinary teams to deliver to time, cost and quality objectives.Strategic, operational, technical and management skillsPrevious experience within water treatment, power, industrial or MOD sectors would be preferredKey WordsProject ManagerProject ManagementProject DeliveryProgramme ManagerTechnical DeliveryContract ManagerMODSecurity ClearnceWater IndustryWater TreatmentWater SectorWater SupplyEffluent TreatmentWaste WaterWastewaterSewageConstructionEngineeringPower IndustryPower SectorPower GenerationUtilities
