Job Title: Nuclear Standards InspectorSF32299Location: Devonport, PlymouthBusiness Unit: SubmarinesSalary: £ 33,210.00 - £40,695.00About the roleHere at Babcock International were looking to recruit a Nuclear Standards Inspector.The Nuclear Standards Branch (NSB) forms an important part of the Governance of Nuclear Safety Implicated work conducted on the DRDL Licenced Site. NSB acts as the independent overseer of a variety of processes and procedures to ensure the required safety and product standards are being complied with using the guidelines and instructions laid down by the Technical Authority. NSB are also the centre of excellence for Remote Visual Inspection on the Devonport site and support projects across the M&T Business.Youll provide oversight of Nuclear Safety Implicated on the Nuclear Steam Raising Plant under Babcock Marine contract control work to rigorously ensure compliance with authorised documentation, cleanliness standards, the integrity of the NSRP and the working practices carried out in the Reactor Compartment. NSIs also carryout Nuclear Procedure coordination duties and support the site Nuclear Accident Response Organisation.
