Techniche Global are supporting an engineering defence contractor to appoint 4 x Mechanical Engineers and 1 x Senior Mechanical Engineer. You will manage the delivery of mechanical engineering work packages to the required scope, quality, schedule andcost.You will be responsible for managing the technical aspects of the mechanical engineering packages from identification of the need, through to handover.Rate: Mechanical Engineer: £55p/hr UMB. Senior Mechanical Engineer: £60p/hr UMBLocation: Homebased with some very occasional travel to PlymouthDuration: 12 months+Required:* You must hold valid SC Clearance* A degree in an appropriate engineering discipline.* Chartered Engineer, registered with Engineering Council.* Design of mechanical and nuclear process systems e.g. fresh water, demineralised water, radioactive effluent processing etc.* Design of industrial gas systems e.g. low and high pressure air, welding gases etc.* Design of mechanical building services* Knowledge of seismic analysis for mechanical process equipment* Experience of substantiation of process equipment for justification of Nuclear Safety Functions.
