Job Description

Job Title: Junior HR Business PartnerLocation: Plymouth, DevonCompensation: £37,165 + BenefitsRole Type: Full or Part time / Permanent or ContractJob ID: SF41271This is your opportunity to join Babcock as a Junior HR Business Partner. In this role you will be in support of the implementation of CoE related solutions, ranging from resourcing, reward, development, culture and leadership.Who we are looking forWe are looking for a Junior HRBP to facilitate and support our business in the implementation of our unified People Plan. You will be informed, able to influence others and able to interact with senior stakeholders. You will also possess strong communicationskills, both verbally and written.What will you be doingAs a Junior HRBP you will:-

  • Lead and Manage the roll out and management of a HR People Plan and initiatives within a business area
  • Sponsor, lead, drive and ensure the delivery of complex business change projects, ensuring alignment with the People Plan, and realisation of the business objectives.
  • Develop and propose adaptations of HR activity to meet the specific remit of a business or contract, ensure alignment and delivery of HR solutions provided by CoE SMEs, People Centre, and 3rd parties.
  • Apply subject matter expertise to the development of policy, process or approached, reflecting external best practice and that add value to the business
  • Ensure the deployment of HR processes to meet the requirements of the area supported, including ensure these are fully implemented and deliver the intended benefit to the business or areas supported
  • Support the development of appropriate skills, knowledge and behaviours across the business to enable managers and employees to achieve business objectives in support of our Purpose and Principles.
  • Compile and present business information to line managers, based on effective HR administration services and to inform them of performance issues associated with people
The experience youll bring
  • You should hold a level 5 or equivalent HR qualification and ideally be working towards chartered member status of the CIPD and committed to continuous professional development
  • We would like you to have knowledge of in a range of HR functional areas and a good understanding of the techniques and approaches associated with HR activity.
  • You will be committed to learning and developing within the role. We will support you with your development and progression in to the role of a business partner.
  • You will need to satisfy security requirements. This may require you to hold or be eligible/capable of achieving Security Check (SC) clearance.
