We have built on the success of the UK MoD Type 31 Frigate and have secured contracts for frigate export variants (AH140) with overseas customers. As well as supportingexports of frigates the engineering team is actively working on other ship newbuild and life extension programs around the world, from small fast attack craft all the way up to aircraft carriers.The roleThe difference our new ILS Manager will makeAs an ILS Manager, youll have a role thats out of the ordinary. The ILS Engineering Manager (Miecznik) is a key role working on a strategically important programme. The role will play a key part in developing the ILS strategy and future in-service supportsolution for one of the first AH140 exports.Day to day, youll derive the supportability and ILS strategy for the AH140 export into Poland - under the Miecznik programme. A supplementary part of the role will be to provide domain knowledge to business win activities in support of securing the futurein-service support solution for the vessel alongside our partner, PGZ.This will be an excellent career broadening opportunity to work alongside supportability and engineering subject matter experts in a customer facing role.At Babcock, we have a history of helping talent go far.
