Job Description

The RoleHub Operations Manager - Jewson Partnership Solutions - Plymouth JPS are a part of Saint-Gobain - Winners of TOP EMPLOYER UK AND GLOBAL four years running! (2016-2019)Jewson Partnership Solutions (JPS) is a brand within Saint-Gobain which specialises in providing solutions for our customers in the Public Sector such as Housing Associations and Local Authorities.We have recently secured a fantastic supply solution with LiveWest which will incorporate a distribution hub located in Plymouth and a solution which encompasses our regional branch network in the south west.We have an exciting opportunity for a branch operations manager to oversee the operational day to day running of the hub and co-ordinate our clients orders working with the branch network. The successful candidate will empower and energise colleagues inorder to provide LiveWest with an exceptional service. Youll build relationships with our internal and external customers whilst ensuring the branch operates in a safe manner and in line with all company policies and procedures.As a Hub Operations Manager with Jewson Supply Partnerships, you will:

  • Manage core stock levels appropriately to reduce shrinkage and transport costs.
  • Implement and deliver an excellent customer experience, maintaining strong effective relationships with both the customer, local branches and suppliers.
  • Monitor KPIs for the branch and look for new ways to innovate and drive growth for the business.
  • Ensure the branch operates according to Saint Gobains Safety and Wellbeing principles to create a safe working environment.

  • Have a strong background in management and empowering your colleagues.
  • Have had experience within the construction / building materials industry.
  • Experience working IconSystem, or similar construction/building merchant software
  • Can demonstrate achieving over and above targeted KPIs.
  • Are resilient by nature and confident in managing conflict.
  • Are comfortable with occasional travel as may be required for the role - full and valid UK driving license is required.
  • Experience working within a construction or building merchant branch, depot or hub.
  • Not essential but experience of working with public sector organisations is preferred.
