Job Description

Temporary role - initially for 2 - 3 months, full-time.We are looking for an HR Assistant withan interest in Recruitment and Employee Relations and experience of working within a busy HR environment with an organised approach to managing their workload and time. They should be an effective communicator with excellent attention to detail and a customer focused approach to work.About the role:

  • Support with all stages of Recruitment and Selection process up to and including Recruitment Campaign management, forvacancies and Supply Staff. Supporting Hiring Managers and applicants as required.
  • Provide first-line HR advice and support to line managers and employees, adopting a proactive and solution focused approach to ER case management in line with Policies and Procedures.
  • Work within processes and systems of work to make improvements and support the continued development of the HR Service.
  • Accurate use of ICT systems, to include updating Recruitment social media platforms.
  • Contribute to HR project work where required.
  • Act as point of contact where required to resolve employee queries.
  • Enquiries are answered with accurate and timely responses to a high level of compliance and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide ad-hoc support and advice in the delivery of HR activities and events (e.g., staff surveys/recruitment events etc).
  • Support the administrative functions within the team as required.
  • The successful candidate will:
  • Be experienced within an HR Assistant/Officer role which involved some level of Recruitment and Employee Relations support and case work.
  • Be confident in use of technology to deliver efficient processes, experience with working Virtually or Remotely is essential
  • Be experienced of working within a team, delivering to deadlines within a busy environment.
  • Have good with IT and communication skills including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Virtual Media platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet etc.
  • Have working knowledge of HR software/systems
  • Have excellent communication skills developed in customer services roles and/or HR roles and the ability to build rapport quickly
  • QualificationsEssential
  • A minimum of 2 GCSE’s (or equivalent) including English and Maths
  • CIPD Level 3 qualification (or equivalent - or working towards)
