Head of Yield and InventoryMRK Associates is exclusively partnered with Brittany Ferries, an awarding winning transport provider with offices in three different locations in the south coast including Dorset and Devon. Based in their Plymouth office, they are looking for a Head ofYield and Inventory to join their revenue management team on a permanent basis. Remote working is available for this role, however travel to Plymouth and Roscoff will be required on a monthly basis.Brittany Ferries were founded in 1972 by proud Breton Alexis Gourvennec and a group of fellow Breton farmers wanting to export their cauliflowers and artichokes to the UK, in 1976 their first route from St Malo to Portsmouth set sail and then just a yearlater they begun to sell ferry-inclusive holidays. Fast-forward 50 years and Brittany Ferries is now the leading maritime carrier on the western and central Channel.Prior to covid Brittany Ferries begun their commercial re-organisation and digital transformation with a view to modernise their processes and systems. The UK and travel sector was significantly impacted by Covid across 2020 and 2021 but the business hasused this time to reassess strategic objectives, create a new website, appoint a marketing agency and introduce club voyage 2.The need for a Head of Yield and Inventory is required as they embark on their restart transformation phase where you will be responsible for developing and delivering the revenue management systems for the digital era, managing valuations to meet budgets,optimising commercial yields and maximising use of the fleet assets and inventory.The successful individual will be an experienced revenue manager with good knowledge of budget planning processes, data infrastructure and revenue management and reservation tools. You will have experience in delivery of systems-based projects, with theability to translate commercial questions and requests into insight. For this role you will need strong people management skills to ensure your team fulfils their potential and achieve goals while identifying poor performance and crafting plans to addressit.Job responsibilities:
