Job Description

Would you like to join a successful and ever-expanding retail business Our client is seeking a dynamic Graphic Designer to join their busy team based in their head office in Plymouth. Our client is one of the UK s fastest growing privately owned companies,and now has over 200 stores nationwide.As the Graphic Designer, you will be working within the design team on various projects - creating and developing graphic elements fit for print design purposes. You will adapt images throughout the artwork stages in preparation for repro, always supportingthe team and ensure all creative work is produced to a high standard.To be the Graphic Designer, you will also have:

  • Knowledge of a wide variety of printed marketing materials and branding.
  • Excellent use of Adobe InDesign, and Photoshop, Illustrator
  • An understanding of colour profiles, file & image formatting, and output for print.
  • Experience of designing, printed brochures, leaflets, posters, flyers, and packaging.
  • Good typography skills and eye for detail.
  • Creativity - with a strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design work and illustration.
  • Understanding of brands and the retail world.
As the successful Graphic Designer, you will need:
  • The ability to work well under pressure, meeting tight deadlines.
  • A strong creative flair and visual sense.
  • Confidence, with the ability to work well within a team and on your own initiative.
  • The ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple design projects.
  • A pro-active approach and be a team player who can work from own initiative and who is organised and reliable.
