Job Description

Geo-environmental Engineer (Remediation)Location: PlymouthReference: BY1136Salary: £26,000 - £30,000This is an exciting opportunity for a Geo-environmental Engineer seeking their next career step to join a highly established ground remediation team in Plymouth. The company specialise in soil remediation and waste management both on site and in treatmentfacilities, ensuring the highest standard of work is delivered on time and within budget. The successful Geo-environmental Engineer will be involved in a range of remediation projects from beginning to end, based out of the Plymouth office and on site. Projects will involve the identification and investigation of, treatment and/or removal ofcontaminated land and groundwater. Phase 1 studies and report writing will be required and other opportunities for progressing within the sector (including remediation design and geotechnics) may also be provided.To be considered for the Geo-Environmental Engineering position you should:
  • Be experienced in the geoenvironmental/geotechnical/waste assessment/remediation industry, with a good foundation of knowledge.
  • Be commutable to Plymouth.
  • Have a relevant degree in geotechnical engineering, earth sciences, environmental management, or similar.
  • Have a good understanding of Phase I and Phase II site investigation.
  • A full right to work in the UK.
  • Hold a UK valid driving licence.
