Job Description

A fast growing and privately owned company with many stores nationwide are looking for hardworking, customer centred staff members to join the established and experienced team located in the Plymouth area.Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be required to work within a team and independently. This role is critical in ensuring a high level accuracy, you will need to be well organised and proficient in dealing with the unexpected.You will enjoy working alongside others as part of a team. You will need to be adaptable, confident, and able to adapt with the needs of the businessDo you have proven experience of:

  • processing invoices from suppliers
  • full end to end process accounting for utilities
  • the ability to review data to check for errors
  • proven skills with preparing and posting journals (inc. VAT)
  • posting pf pre-payments & accruals
  • Liaising with internal and external colleagues to resolve outstanding disputes
  • assisting withmonth end preparation
Do you have an excellent eye for detail and proven track record of working with the MS office suite (Excel, Word, & Outlook).
