Opportunity to join a bulk fuels storage client now seeking an experienced E,C&I Technician to be based permanently at its Plymouth site.Do you have proven Electrical & Controls maintenance background in a hazardous area environmentSalary £32,000 plus excellent benefits packageThe role:Reactive and preventative maintenance across a variety of critical equipment, including LV electrical distribution systems, motors, drives, switch gear, fire alarms, control systems and instrumentation, in respect of EC&I Engineering activities.Education & Experience:You will hold a recognised technical qualification with a Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services (Electrical Installation) or equivalent/relevant qualification (City & Guilds) or be assessed as competent with relevant experience.You will need to be an Approved Registered Electrician (JIB Gold Card) with a Level 3 in Inspection, Testing and Certification (City & Guild 2391) as well as having your 18th Edition - BS7671: 2018. It would be preferable if you have valid CompEx Ex01-Ex04.You will have proven industrial experience as an Electrical Technician, preferably with experience in hazardous operations, operated under COMAH regulations with previous exposure to controls and instrumentation.Previous experience of DCS Systems, communication data highways, variable speed drives, instrumentation - pressure, flow, temperature, density, level, control valves etc is essential for this role.Individuals must be medically fit to undergo Breathing Apparatus and Confined Space training and operations, as well as having full colour vision.
