They are a brand associated with quality and offer a varied role within a great team environment.The role would suit Design Managers or Senior Mechanical Design Engineers with experience of leading a team. Applicants should be confident communicating and liaising with customers. Design Engineers will ideally transfer with a mechanical or manufacturingengineering background.The Design Manager role will essentially involve the day to day running of the design and development department. You will manage a small and well established team of circa 8 people. You will liaise directly with high profile customers to establish theirproduct requirements and coordinate the design team to deliver on the needs of the customer. 50% of the role will be people management and the other 50% will be technically focussed whereby you will use Creo 3 or Inventor for 3D modelling and drawings.This is an exciting opportunity to gain a role within a well-respected manufacturer who offer a role with a high level of responsibility and autonomy.
