Role: Design Engineer - NuclearLocation: Remote + 2 days onsite in Plymouth every fortnightDuration: 12 MonthsRate: Up to £65/hourThe main purpose of the role is to provide technical engineering support and advice, and undertake design activities relating to process engineering supporting dockyard facilities. This includes the maintenance and control of modifications to the designintent of nuclear process plant and equipment across DRDs Nuclear Licensed Site.You will need a proven background as a Design Engineer with knowledge of pressure systems (pipework, tanks, pumps, overpressure protection etc.), computer aided design and engineering, and demonstrable experience of having applied the whole design lifecycle.A minimum of a Higher National Certificate in a relevant engineering discipline is essential.
