Class 2 Delivery Driver MultidropJob Type: Full Time, PermanentLocation: Plympton, PlymouthWorking Hours: Monday to Friday7:30am4:30pmSalary: £25,000 pa, with drivers bonus of £1200.00 (one off payment)Benefits:We value every member of our team and believe in rewarding hard work. Nationwide our team of 400 people are involved in Manufacturing, Distributingand Retailing Building Materials to the trade and retail public. Role responsibilities Class 2 Delivery Driver:As a Class 2 Delivery Driver, you will providemulti drop deliveriesand engage with team members to provide exceptional customer experiences and service through your enthusiasm and knowledge.You will build relationships with both trade and DIY customers during your deliveries.Due to the nature of the business and the needs of our customers, at times some manual lifting will be involved. Electric pallet truck and tail-lift provided.Requirements for theClass 2 Delivery Driver:
  • A valid HGV Class 2 licence.
  • CPC & Digital Tacho Card.
  • Multi drop experience is preferable.
  • Good geographic knowledge.
  • Comfortable and confident in dealing with a variety of customer situations in a professional manner.
  • A good energy, drive, and a positive can-do attitude.
  • Good communication, customer service and people skills.
  • Able to work as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in a similar HGV Driver role but not essential.
  • You will need to have a smart appearance as this is a customer facing role.
