Job Title: Electronics AssemblerLocation: PlymouthSalary: £9.88 per hour plus overtimeLength of contract: ongoing up to 2 yearsTo carry out all assembly work using hand tools, small machines, jigs, fixtures, soldering/crimping and production instrumentation.To ensure adherence to quality and health and safety procedures as laid down by legislation and Company requirements.* To abide by relevant health and safety laws ensuring safe practices are adhered to at all times* To ensure regular housekeeping is undertaken to maintain area is safe and tidy.* To ensure compliance to Company procedures.General duties may include:* Coil winding and sealing* Loom preparation - wiring, crimping, wire-stripping.* Assembly and soldering of printed circuit boards* Rack and cubicle assembly and wiring.* Conformal coating of printed circuit boards* Use of encapsulation machine/Slygard.* Use of solder bath* Painting* General Mechanical Assembly of products using torque tools.* Cleaning/maintaining area of work* Contributing to improvement projects/activitiesHEALTH & SAFETY1. Undertake reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and any other person who may be affected by your activities, as well as the environment within which you operate.2.
