Job Description

Architect, Plymouth - £35k - £45k DOEWould you like to join a forward thinking Architectural consultancy with a local ethos and National capability Would you like to work in an office with panoramic glass and amazing viewsIf so then there is an opportunity for a technical Architect to join a sociable team based in Plymouth. You will be working in a variety of project sectors working through all RIBA stages and have the chance to have a direct involvement with the directors andArchitects, no 2 days are the same!You will be working in a modern open plan studio for a large company with 3 offices across the UK, there is plenty of very interesting high profile projects you will be working on and a very clear route to progression. The consultancy are Revit based, thereforeif you have experience in this software it would be beneficial however if you dont you will be fully supported and training will be provided.   • Project Delivery
  • Creating presentation drawings and 3D visuals/renders
  • Liaising Clients to understand their business goals
  • Preparing concept scheme designs from client briefs
  • Working towards the latest building regulations and technical standards
  • Managing planning applications, and building regulations
  • Solving any issues that may arise
  • Working towards fixed budgets and times deadlines
  • Visit site for inspections
  • Assist in business development
  • Project delivery across all RIBA stages
  • Recognised RIBA Part III qualification
  • Preferred Revit skills however not essential
  • Good freehand sketching ability to a high level
  • Have a good technical capability
  • To be passionate and forward thinking full of ideas!
