Job Description

My client is an award-winning provider of boutique, design-led serviced office space in and around Central London. They are currently in a period of growth and are seeking an experienced Head of HR to assist them in their next stage of an exciting journey.As part of the Senior Management Team, the main purpose of the role is to deliver a professional and efficient Human Resources function to the business, managing all aspects of the day to day operation of the HR Department through establishing, maintaining and improving excellent people management practices and skills. Developing sound employee relations practices across the sites, communication and getting involved day to day is key to this role.Main responsibilities:

  • Providing a professional HR service, actively promoting a culture where the people resource is continuously developed and empowered in all areas to achieve world class business performance.
  • Liaise with the Senior Management Team to ensure HR initiatives/strategic plans are implemented effectively
  • Attend Senior Management Team meetings on a monthly basis and produce HR reports and an overview as required
  • Providing advice and support to line managers in all matters of employment law, payroll and other employment issues
  • Ensuring all HR requirements are implemented. These include Performance Management, Talent Management, Succession Planning, HR Team Improvement Boards and Employee Engagement
  • Updating policies and procedures as per employment legislation
  • Supporting HR projects as required
  • Managing the training and development for all staff
  • Providing leadership by promoting team concepts, diversity and equal employment opportunity, coaching, counselling, mentoring, training, talent / succession management, and individual development.
  • Manage the monthly process of payroll alongside the Head of Finance
  • Manage all benefits for the business and staff
  • Manage the full recruitment process for the business
  • Manage yearly HR budgets which include recruitment, training and development
  • Manage GDPR process for the business
  • Manage Healthcare policy and Pension scheme for the business
  • The ideal candidate will be CIPD qualified with previous multi-site experience as HR Manager/Head of HR. As this is a stand-alone role you must also enjoy a hands-on approach and be ambitious to grow with the company. You will be able to work strategically and tactically on a day to day basis and actively promote and encourage the development of people Required skills
