Job Description

Nonstop Care is working with a well-established local authority that is looking for a Social Worker to join their Children Safeguarding Team in East of England.This role offers exceptional support through a team led by experienced and supportive managers, ensuring you receive guidance and mentorship to boost your professional growth and success.You will also have the option of hybrid working allowing you to enjoy the flexibility of working from the comfort of your home to achieve a better work-life balance!Benefits:

Your Responsibilities:
  • Conduct social work on allocated cases, creating outcome-based plans while considering children and families needs and risks.
  • Foster strong relationships with children, young people, and their families to enhance the effectiveness of your work and align service plans with their views.
  • Apply evidence-based practices to address needs within resource constraints and statutory responsibilities, following council policies.
  • Ensure individual performance meets national standards and performance indicators, with regular supervision.
  • Participate in routine auditing to maintain high standards of social work practice and record-keeping, adhering to the Quality Assurance Framework.
Requirements:
  • Hold a professional Social Work registration or equivalent (SWE)
  • Post graduate experience across safeguarding and/or assessment
  • Have the ability to assess and manage risk, with a focus on service-users safety and well-being
  • Must drive and have access to own vehicle.
  • Clear, Enhanced DBS
