Senior Automation EngineerLocation : PeterboroughEmployment : PermanentCompetitive salary with comprehensive benefitsAs our client is the leader in the design and supply of customer standard process control systems to the food industry, they are looking for two highly experienced senior Automation Engineers to lead their turnkey projects to transform the worlds most pressing food and mobility challenges into sustainable technologies, process solutions and services.The Senior Automation Engineer will :*Lead turnkey projects, including time, cost and quality responsibilities*Interface with customers for all project matters including commercial aspects*Be responsible for the production of relevant documentation related to the project (FDS, Manuals, etc.)*Design and code PLC/SCADA control system software (TIA and Rockwell)*Be involved in the acceptance testing and commissioning on site*Make modifications to hardware and panels on site*Arrange customer support services including 24/7 out of hours supportRequired experience and qualifications:*Technical/vocational diploma or degree in electrical or Automation engineering or equivalent*Demonstrable project management experience*Experience working on turnkey automation and controls projects with time cost and quality responsibility*Good knowledge of design and coding of PLC/SCADA control software( Rockwell and TIA software)*Possess strong communication skills and hold team leadership experienceThis role will require UK and Worldwide travel for 30-40% of the year to perform the role effectively.If you feel you have the experience and ability to excel at this role then please respond with your most recent CV to be immediately considered.Spring Engineering Solutions (a trading name of Roevin Management Services Limited) acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
