We’re alreadysuccessful across Europe, Asia & the U.S, with your skills and our training, you’ll demonstrate and sell our unique service products into the UK’s industrial technology sector.BASIC SALARY: Up to £45,000BENEFITS:· £5k expected first year OTE, but UNCAPPED and paid quarterly · £500 Monthly car allowance plus mileage to be paid at the HMRC advisory fuel rates · 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays· Company pension schemeLOCATION: Based from our offices near Huntingdon with the option to occasionally work from home you could be based in or near: St Ives, Peterborough, Cambridge, Kettering, Northampton, Wellingborough, Corby, Bedford, Biggleswade, St Neots,Royston, Chatteris, March, Ely.JOB DESCRIPTION: Sales Engineer, Technical Field Sales – Sensors, Instrumentation, Testing.You’ll be fully trained to meet with potential new customers, at their plants across the UK, to demonstrate how our market leading industrial technology solution will add value to their manufacturing processes.As our Technical Sales Engineer you will: · Source new business leads as well as follow up on sales enquiries generated through our marketing activities. · Set up and deliver technical product demonstrations on customer sites. · Uncover the customers requirement so that you can give them the best possible advice. · Build existing key accounts, maximising the use of our solutions.Once on board you’ll support the customer through the commissioning and training process, helping with any of their technical needs and making sure they get the best service possible.Because we’ve already identified the target markets and businesses we’d like to develop, we’ll support you to build a successful approach plan. We see this as a long-term investment of your time so we’ll make sure you are given full and ongoing trainingso you’re confident you know exactly what you’re talking about. Regardless of whether your customer is in Food Manufacturing, Paint Finishing, Ceramics or Heat Treatment, you’ll have the skills and knowledge to identify the best solution for them.PERSON SPECIFICATION: Sales Engineer, Technical Field Sales – Sensors, Instrumentation, Testing.As this is the next step on your career journey, you’ll already be: A service engineer who is used to spotting opportunities and advising clients to invest in new or upgraded kit OR  You’ll have a proven track record in business to business sales, whether that’s internal sales / customer support or field sales.Whatever your experience you’ll:· Have an engineering background, either through qualification (HNC level in Engineering or Science) or by experience.· Demonstrate excellent relationship building skills.· Be a confident communicator, happy speaking to people at all levels and delivering information to technical and non-technical people. · Be self-motivated and able to develop and work to a structured territory plan.Your attitude will be the key to unlocking this role.
