Job Description

Murray McIntosh is delighted to be working with a leading educational body whose mission is to support a thriving workforce in the development of top-notch training. They are seeking a Research Specialist to join their influential Evaluation team.Working alongside the broader Strategy and Policy function, this role will evaluate the performance of their products and services, and provide understanding of their impact on the industry before reporting to government and industry figures to influence strategicdecision making.Responsibilities will include:

  • Researching, analysing and evaluating performance and impact against and for strategic aims
  • Analysing qualitative and quantitative research from a variety of sources
  • Processing and analyse complex data and intelligence in order to draw impactful conclusions
  • Communicating insight in digestible formats to internal and external stakeholders
Successful candidates will need to demonstrate:
  • Education to degree level with relevant professional qualification; or relevant similar work experience
  • Ability to analyse complex data and provide insightful conclusions and present recommendations
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Proven ability and experience of using data analysis tools
  • Experience of working with a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge of concepts and principles of social science research is desirable
This position will be UK Home based. Existing UK work authorisation is required at the time of application submission.
