Job Description

Our client, based in Peterborough, are currently seeking a Repack Team Leader to join their team.The Team Leader will report to the Production Manager and will be responsible for:

  • Planning and running an area within food production by managing staff effectively and efficiently, ensuring that staff and equipment are readily available at the start of each shift and changeovers,
  • Understanding product and process controls,
  • Plan and organise workload,
  • Ensure all standards are maintained to the highest level, particularly hygiene, quality and health & safety,
  • Continuously improve results against the department KPIs,
  • Communicate daily targets and deliver the production plan to all employees in the area,
  • Work with engineering and hygiene colleagues to maximise efficiencies,
  • Monitor product quality and grading, training and development of staff to ensure flexibility within the area, and ensure records are completed accurately.
    • The successful Team Leader will have a food / process manufacturing background, experience of managing a team, excellent written and spoken communication skills, proven problem solving experience, be able to work on own initiative and lead by example, have basic Excel and Word skills, and have the ability to plan and organise workload and work to deadlines.Hours of work are varying with a start time of between 07:00 and 18:00For more details please click apply and send your CV
