Job Description

Refrigeration engineerUp to £18 per hour + training + overtimeBased around the Peterborough areaDo you have good knowledge of being a field service engineer working with the refrigeration industry and looking to take the next steps within your careerOn offer is the chance to be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and reactive work of refrigerators and freezers!Roles and responsibilities:

  • Carrying out planned and or reactive work and RTFs visits
  • Completing work according to current method statements, plus relevant compliance and service-related processes.
  • On site proactive and reactive response to customer demands at sites as deemed necessary by our contract customer base.
  • To follow company working policies and practices as directed.
  • Servicing equipment at customer sites to designated standards.
  • Ensure all Health & Safety guidelines and statutory regulations are met and adhered to.
  • FGas regulations are complied with at all times.
  • Communicate on a regular basis with Schedulers providing updates on works or tasks.
  • To represent the company in a professional manner at all times and develop a good working relationship with company and customer staff.
  • To ensure all paperwork / documentation and tablet job information is completed correctly and promptly.
  • To diagnose equipment faults accurately and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • To identify required parts to enable the Purchasing team to be able to order in a timely fashion.
Requirements for the role:
  • F/Gas Certification.
  • C&G electrical qualifications/experience.
  • Electrical fault finding.
  • Must have a full driving licence.
  • Strong customer facing skills.
  • Field engineer experience.
  • Walk in Fridge/Freezer experience
