CAMEO is an award-winning CPFT Early Intervention service offering assessment, treatment and support to people aged 14 - 35 years who are experiencing symptoms of psychosis for the first time. Cameo was established in 2000 and the service has had a significant impact on the development of the Early Intervention model across the UK and internationally.We are delighted to imminently be embarking upon a significant service expansion which will see us more fully meet national targets notably the ability to deliver a 3 year age inclusive pathway.CAMEO Service operates across the Foundation Trust via two established bases in Cambridge and Peterborough.A fantastic opportunity is currently being offered working within Cameo covering the Peterborough, Fenland and Huntingdonshire areas.We are looking to recruit an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our friendly, dynamic, highly motivated and busy early intervention service to be based in the city of Peterborough.This role will include caseload care coordination, expert clinical assessment and individualized specialist OT assessment and interventions as part of a service user’s overall multi-disciplinary team care plan.Therapeutic interventions will be delivered in line with the National Institute of Clinical Excellence Quality Standards for Early Intervention in Psychosis Services . CAMEO recognises the aim of individualised work to promote self awareness, independence, confidence and hope within the service users own unique recovery journey.The successful applicant will have experience of working therapeutically with individuals who are experiencing mental health difficulties and preferably within community settings. Prior experience of working with psychosis or a wish to develop a robust professional working knowledge within this field would be essential.Cameo will offer professional development in the form of regular clinical and operational supervision on a 1:1 basis, group supervision and formulation sessions and appropriate training opportunities relating to the delivery of early intervention in psychosis care.
