Job Description

MECHANICAL SMOKE VENTILATION ENGINEER - NATION WIDE - £45,000-£60,000 (BASIC) £70,000+ OTEOur client is a national Fire & Security company with over 30 years experience in the industry. They are seeking to employ an experienced Mechanical Smoke Ventilation Engineer on a permanent, full time basis. The ideal candidate will have experience ofHeating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, Smoke Ventilation systems and Automatic Opening Vent (AOV) systems.What they offerAs part of the team, you will have access to some great benefits including:

The PositionAs a Mechanical Smoke Ventilation Engineer you will be employed to work nationally across a range of building types by maintaining and repairing mechanical smoke extract systems. In addition to servicing the installed components and replacing where necessary,you will help design, install, and commission replacement systems where existing equipment has become obsolete. To be considered for this Mechanical Smoke Ventilation Engineer position, you must demonstrate the following:
  • 18th Edition Electrical qualification
  • ONC, HNC, or HND in an engineering discipline
  • CITB H&S Qualified (CSCS, SSSTS, SMSTS, IOSH, SEATS)
  • PLC programming experience
  • Knowledge of BS EN 12101, BS 9999, BS 9991 & BS 7346-8
